Is The Global Crisis a Threat to AdSense Publishers?

Stumble it!As we all know that world rich economy is in downfall i.e USA, UK, and other’s european countries, what will it effects on the google adword advertiser, as they will spend very little on the online advertising, and its consequent impact on the google adsense publisher? will adsense business is going to be finish in near future? do you see world depression on your adsense dailty earning?
Some publishers already have seen effects. They range from severe to the opposite–actual increases. Why? Some companies might increase online advertising and cut print.
Will AdSense be finished? Absolutely not. I would be very surprised if AdSense is as much affected as other advertising venues will be.
If you’re considering what to do, look around. Are there better options out there? Go after them if so. Me, I think AdSense is the best option for some of my sites depending on the niche. That might not be true for everyone.
Some other opinions as well:
I think not. Adsense operations are global and not related to commodities or banking. So, maybe some companies will decrease their investment in advertising, but many will increase. Beacause, with adsense advertising costs are not so high.
Also a good point is that in Q4 Google revenue was up to $5.4 Billion and that is very significant now that everyone is reporting losses. What do you think?

I was actually having my best month ever last October or November (I think it was October) when Google sent out its little email about the economy and what they were doing to keep Adsense profitable for publishers.
I guess I’m fortunate in that I picked several niches to get into. While a couple have suffered due to the economy, a couple others have really jumped to life with one in particular frequently seeing $75+ eCPM days.
There are always going to be things that people need and buy in any economy. Succeeding as an Adsense publisher is just going to mean being adaptable.

Good writeup. Ads offer stronger business values Google and hope they wont close it out. It may be a tough time, but a good adsense publisher should be able to make it.
