30 New visitors From Google.com Main page?
February 5, 2009
Checking the analytics of googlelady.com I have seen that there are more than 30 new visitors (and incresing) from Google.com main page. I was shocking and started to search about this issue and what is really happening.
After some search I found on SEOmoz something about this, and it seems that Google is using some type Ajax-driven search results:
Google switched to AJAX-driven search results to create less bandwidth for them, since every refining query will only load the HTML necessary to replace the search results and not necessarily the entire page.
You can read more on their blog. By the way talking about SeoMoz they are offering the pro membership for only $1 limited time so if you want to join and test their membership you can go ahead and try them. This is part of the email about this offer: (You can also check “Seomoz Coupons”
the $1 offer is absolutely no obligation. You get a whole month of SEOmoz PRO, which normally costs $79, for just $1. You don’t have to stay signed up for a whole year, you don’t even have to stay after the first month. You can sign up, pay one dollar and then leave after 29 days. It’ll just cost you a dollar, no more. So, yes, this really is the best offer we’ve ever made.
Why are we making it?
Over the past 12 months, we’ve put loads of work into our PRO membership. We think it’s amazing. We’re desperate for everyone to try it out and see how much it’ll help their SEO campaigns.
If you haven’t taken advantage of our offer already, hurry, it’s selling out fast. In fact, we only had 5,000 places available… and we’re already half full! At this rate, we won’t even get a chance to announce it on the blog on Monday. (So far, we’ve only made the offer to the 122,451 people on our mailing list, not the millions of people who visit our blog each month!)
Use promo code SUCCESS09. To get this great opportunity to try SeoMoz.

SEOMoz doesn’t accept paypal , that’s a pity!
Moreover they have some very strange terms of cancellation… you can’t ask by email to cancel an account, you have to call them over phone to get an account canceled (Ideally there should be a web based option to cancel an account)
If someone can resolve my concerns, I’m ready to give it a shot.

@ROW That is a shame, I was thinking about joining them but after what you have written (and reading James’ report) I’m having serious doubts.

Here’s new info for cancellation:
“If you change your membership level (either by upgrade or downgrade), you will immediately be charged the rate for the new subscription level”
I was charged for $158 in total. Great! Thank YOU!

Received an email reply from them:
“My sincere apologies for the overcharge. I see that you were charged $79. A glitch in the checkout process no doubt, I will forward on to our dev team to have a closer look at what happened.
I have issued you a refund of $78 to make up for the $1.00 special offer! You will receive an automated email once the refund is processed.
Thank you for taking us up on this offer and giving SEOmoz PRO a try!”
I guess I have been overreacted. My apologies. Please don’t stop posting such a useful offer.
