Many times while I read about Pagerank, I always says that pagerank is just useless. Even if you get your site with a pagerank of “0″ you will still have your ranking in the search engine HIGH. Few months ago, Googlelady.com had a pagerank of zero as many other webmasters. I have received many emails from users and advertisers saying “Why your pagerank is zero” then I replied that pagerank is really useless, so do not foucuss on your pagerank.

Today, reading more about pagerank. First few weeks ago they have removed pagerank from webmaster tool. Then checking the toolbar, it seems that is Gone. If you check any pagerank tool online you will see that even google.com has a pagerank of zero. This reminds me about this post that I made in 2007: Google Rumors: Google PageRank To Be Reset.

Bye Bye Pagerank (Damm finally!!).

It looks like the rank is back. I see Google.com rank of ’10′. Amazon.com rank is ’9′. Perhaps, it was a temporary glitch.

Yes, but it was a very good glitch. If they remove the pagerank how many scammers will go down! selling fakes PR domain names…

PR is one part of the algorithm a lot of SEO’s were focusing on – so G is trying to take the focus off by removing it from the toolbar and from WMT. Anything to keep webmasters uninformed seems to be their game.
