You can use this handy tool to simulate how long it takes your homepage to load up at different connection speeds. The tool will also provide you with tips on how you to speed up your homepage. Studies indicate that most people wait no longer than 3 to 5 seconds for a homepage to load. Make sure you’re not losing valuable visitors because of a slow page.
