Preventing wrong context ads on Cookies sites

I have a problem with a site where the main term, has multiple meanings.

For example, cookies are a biscuit, and a computer file…. I would not want to get the wrong types of contextual advertising, click through would be smaller.

Any advice?

The additional use of synonyms and other words strongly related to your keyword (biscuits, baking) can help with relevance, as can strictly avoiding the use of any words strongly related to the unwanted meaning of that keyword (browser, internet).

I’ve found that the more repetitions of something (especially city names), the more the ads get targeted to it, so beware of repeated words in your navigation menus interfering with your ad relevance.

Using Adsense section targeting can eventually help with ad relevance, especially if you target your content and un-target non-keyword-containing menus and footers.
