Making Money with YouTube and Adbrite tips
June 24, 2007
Adbrite have been improving a lot their services since they launched. There is a good service called Invideo. How to Make Money with YouTube and Adbrite? post inspired to write about tips to get the most benefit from Invideo. When adbrite first launched this service I was like how the hell I will host my videos in my hosting? How much it will cost! then came in my mind YouTube but still was a problem, adbrite does not accept the link (embedded) that youtube offers. So this guide really clears up everything. But then I thought how I can make money with InVideo. There are some ideas that came in my mind:
What niches can work with Invideo?
- Entertainment Niche
- Humor Niche
- Music Niche
What type of site can get the most benefits from Invideo?
- If you are a blogger, the best thing is to create a Vblog (Video Blog).
- A site where you offer entertainment videos a good example is break.com
You can use Invideo in other sites like this, but I am saying “Most benefits from Invideo”.
I want to add my own music and photos to a Youtube video clip but don’t have the budget to buy Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro or Macromedia Flash. Can I still create my custom video for free ?
Chances are that your computer already has a full fledged video editing application installed by default – it’s called Windows Movie Maker and should satisfy the needs of most hobbyist film makers. You can add titles, transitions and even certain video effects.
Here’s how to edit a Youtube video inside WIndows Movie Maker – First convert the FLV to AVI format using Super Encoding software, then add your own pictures, music or video clips and finally export the completed file into any video format of your choice. It’s that simple.
I think creating a site just for a purpose to show videos and earn money with adbrite is easier because you don’t need to write a lot.
Key strategies for video SEO
1. Capitalize on metadata content: Titles and descriptions for video are heavily weighted by the engines. Use them wisely.
2. Encode your video using multiple file types for ease of download and viral spreading. Don’t forget the ipod revolution.
3. Piggyback on popular content or news items.
4. Watermark. Watermark. Watermark.
5. Proliferate your content on the video engines.
6. Embed auto refresh tricks into your video to update your content. The engines will reward for recency, although they primarily reward for relevancy.
7. Research. Test. Study results. Find out why your content ranks well. Then replicate it.
8. Rely on your favorite keyword research tools. They work equally well for video. Pay attention—if you don’t already—to YahooBuzz for keyword suggestions. It’s current. It’s fast. And it’s underused so you’ll have a leg up.
9. Play both types of engines-content and video. Optimize your clips for ripe terms to capture your niche market and the broader video search terms.
10. Hook up RSS and Atom feeds.
11. When adding a video in your posts, make a description (min, 200 words) so google can rank your post/ video article very well.
And enjoy charting the new terrain of this next development in online media and search targeting.

“I want to add my own music and photos to a Youtube video clip but don’t have the budget to buy Adobe Premiere”
Are you encouraging people to steal clips from YouTube and then add there own content to it then pass it off as their own?

there have been a huge discussion on forums about this issue, and some stated that if a person enable the embeded is because they are allowing people to share their video and do whatever they want. Not sure about this issue 100% but will make small research and see if this is illigal issue. Will need to read the terms and conditions of youtube and see.

Hi – just my 2c worth – I read it is good when someone else embeds your video – it gives you more exposure – the thing that worries me though is if they can decode your id number and put their own one in – is that not possible if you know HTML? ie. if you have an adbrite image attached to your video, someone else can steal it, recode it as their own and get the bucks put into their account? I would like to know your take on this one!

Me again – I have made a few videos on Windows movie maker but don’t know how to save them properly so that Adbrite recognises the Url – any tips welcome! Please email me directly with your answers – I am more likely to see them there. Thanks!
