Site Does Well in Google & MSN - Not in Yahoo
July 28, 2007
My website always has very good results in Google and MSN (2000 visitors in a day), and it worked for Yahoo about 2 years ago. I have never checked my site in yahoo until recently. I was shocked to find that my site only has one indexed page (the front page) in yahoo. Is my website banned by Yahoo? what are the things I should do? Thank you in advance!
Mostly I see this happen to websites that use what Yahoo would call excessive linking. Unfortunately, it can mean internal linking, external link - linking out to other listed sites in the case of directories or vendor type websites.
Check first to make sure there are not spidering issues with pages or issues with headers and redirection.

This is weird. Googlelady, if you see there is a link, then just like you said, it’s internal link problem, not ban.
Try to sign up for yahoo explorer webmaster and submit your sitemap. If you are using blog, try to use a site map generator plugin, and submit. It’s will solve the crawling problem.

Googlelady, I hope you don’t mind that I provide the answer here. But you are right, the site is not ban and mostly cause by spider issue.

When there is a paragraph (in brown) there are questions that some users made by email or any other forum so I added my opinion and they can get a direct answer here
All can share you answers so may some people have the same problem and can learn from others problems or mistakes
