BlogRush oh my gosh!
September 16, 2007
Every blogger now is talking about Blogrush.com . Let’s talk about a little (I am a blogger too no?). Let’s see what other bloggers are talking about:
From JohnChow:
BlogRush is a “Cooperative Syndication Network” that rewards its users for their contributions to the network. BlogRush was designed to be incredibly viral and to provide its users with tremendous distribution leverage to receive exposure for their blog content that they could never achieve on their own; at least without a massive advertising budget.
From ProBlogger:
Each time the widget displays you earn a ‘credit’ which means that a recent headline from your own blog will be displayed on someone else’s blog. If your blog gets 100 page views a day your headline will be displayed 100 times on other people’s blogs.
Not only that - they have a referral system so that if another blogger signs up to Blog Rush after clicking through to it from your widget you’ll get credits each time that the referral blog shows the widget. The referral system goes 10 tiers deep - so you can potentially get ALOT of credits.
So it is simple, you register a free account add your widget to your blog and puff done!. But I have made some notes about the pro’s and con’s (first impression):
What is the future of BlogRush?
I might be wrong but I see BlogRush in the near future selling advertising and applying into the blog networks. This is not bad, but selling advertising he has to share it with the bloggers as well. So may be another Adbrite? Adengage? Google adsense?. No one knows…
Give it a try and see if it is worth the ad space for blogrush.

I am waiting for someone to post so facts, not just hype. I am still not convinced it will be effective for small time bloggers.

Hey Thomas,
I am testing blogrush for one week or two and will show how many traffics it can get. Till now (24 hours) is “0″, none, N/A.

BlogRush is Web 1.0 + old Pyramid Shemes brought to Web 2.0. I’m not convinced of their bright future if they don’t change their code pronto.

Chiller, with the last email that the owner sent it yesterday I can see that they are working pretty hard to make it good. But I want some results and that’s why BlogRush (for me) is under testing for 1-2 weeks to see how many visitors they can get me.
