The worst product I Bought!
September 22, 2007
Damm, today I went to dealdotcom and bought the product of the day: Product Domination Blueprint and really was the worst $7.66 bucks that I have spent in my life!.
Let’s see when you download the product which is 98 MB of videos and some garbage PDF which tells you how to sell the same useless product for $7 USD. It will be better to dealdotcom offer some good services/products because is really waste of money! Ok $7.66 is nothing but remember dealdotcom still new and they need to offer to their members good products/services.

I tend to never buy cheap ebook, well only from well known people
You get what you pay for as the old adage goes.

Hey Google Lady,
I checked out your blog a little longer and whoa I notice that you have a PR6 !!!
How long have you been blogging and how long did it take you to get that PR???
I also want a higher PR but do not know where to start
Nice blog design too!

Hey warrior blog,
I had 5 months ago a pagerank 7
but I stopped blogging for one year and came back again:

I recommend to read some articles about SEO here:

Pagerank is based on backlinks to your site. So I recommend to start working on getting many quality backlinks (is better the quality than quantity).

[...] (23/9): Googlelady bought the product from dealdotcom and calls it the worst product she ever bought! She also notes that they let you resell the same product for $7. Obviously buying it from her [...]

No offense, but if you’ve been blogging for so long and have such a good PR, then why in the world would you buy that ebook? I mean, I’m a 7mth newbie and I knew right away it wasn’t something that looked good.
Anyhoo,
I’ve read some of your articles and have subscribed to you. I’ve heard about you before but have never been here. I never knew that Webmaster Corner was related to the “Googlelady”;)

Hey Lori,
Thanks for coming here and commenting. I really bought it for fun. I am a curious person really and $7 bucks will not hurt anything just love to see “new” and “old” ways how marketers are marketing their products. I have learned something from this book, and will try to make a future article about it. $7 to give an idea for 1-2 articles is good no?
I have changed my blog title so many times, I am thinking now to add just “Googlelady” what you think?
September 23rd, 2007 at 12:16 am
Yes, I think since you are known as “Googlelady”, you might as well name your blog that:)
I completely agree on spending a few bucks for some new content ideas! Even if they aren’t helpful, you can always do a post about what NOT to buy or do, etc.
Looking forward to future posts. Have a good evening.

I’ve bought two products so far on dealdotcom, but I didn’t buy today’s (which I’m glad I didn’t now that I read your review).

Lori: Thanks and keep in touch.
Chris Jacobson: I also bought the wp affiliate pro, and happy that I bought it. But just have a minor bug hopefully they will fix it. I am really happy that at least I have helped someone in this short post. Chris your comments are appreciated.

i have been against this dealdotcom thing since the inception. i dont see what the big deal is. all these other bloggers are pushing it becuz it will help them make some commissions. thumbs done.

That’s right Israel but dealdotcom is a great opportunity to make money with their type of affiliate, they only have to improve what they are offering. I think I was one of the lastest one to promote it here, so I can make a good review (my point of view). I think the final step to approve them is that they will really pay.

Sad to hear that you got a bad deal from dealdotcom.
Don’t you also think that they have a pretty stupid domain name, the first time I read about them I typed in http://www.deal.com in my browser, which of course isn’t their site.
Also their recent “$1000 for an advert vid” campaign seems really cheap, since they are giving away a $1000 coupon for their site and they require everyone to upload vids to youtube and include the dealdotcom name etc.
I personally would not trust them as a business partner. But it’s only affiliate marketing

I consider affiliate marketing as part of my business. So if you say that you don’t trust dealdotcom as business partner don’t trust them as an affiliate marketing either

Awww, at least it wasn’t an expensive one. Did it have a money-back guarantee?
Though I’ve started a how-to-make-money-online-the-way-I-do site (don’t worry, that’s not the title), I’ve vowed not to write any ebooks, heh. Or if I do, I’ll give them away for free.
It’s not that the information can’t be good (in some cases)… it’s just that there are so many laaaaame ebooks out there that I don’t even want to be associated with that whole industry. (Does that make me a snob? :P)
