Now that you have Organized your Campaigns now let’s make ad groups smallers and more targeted.

This example is about the campaign Googlelady. First let me tell you which questions I asked myself before creating the ad groups inside the Googlelady campaign:

  • Which article I want to advertise in Google adwords
  • What kind of services I want to advertise that Googlelady.com offers

So in this example I decided to advertise two pages in Google adwords, Get Listed and one of my categories Search engine optimization. So decided to create two adgroups:

adgroups adwords

So let’s assume that I want to advertise 49 tips on adwords article. Will create another adgroup that will be called “49 adwords tips”. I know that it can be too much work but believe me in the long term you will be more than happy for the quality score results.

Another example can be for a Hosting product. Let’s assume that the hosting company is Googleladyhosting. So I create a campaign which is called Googleladyhosting and then created two adgroups:

  • Googleladyhosting reviews
  • Googleladyhosting blog

Googleladyhosting reviews: will be promoting some reviews about this company
Googleladyhosting blog: will be promoting and focuss more about how googleladyhosting is the best choice for bloggers.

Hope you got the point here on how you can create and optimize your ad groups in adwords.
