I have not found this on the wordpress 2.5 version upgrade. Is it still there? On blogspot they have a beta future post version accessed at dratfs.blogger.com. Can we activate this feature in WP2.5?

I used to timestamp posts (backdating) as a result in the beginning I had a daily post. But it was when I had not readers and I was doing it for my own. Timestamp has it's con. My experiance are for hosting with wordpress.com. If you timestamp your post for a future date, the post although appears on blog at specified date/time but the post doesn't appear on the wp.com-wide compilation of posts (based on tags/categories). It only appears when you publish in realtime.

Hey Wayne,

but not all blogs have the chance to get guest bloggers. (btw if anyone wants to be a guest blogger in Googlelady you are welcome to drop me an email).

There are some pro's and con's having guest bloggers as well. One of the pros you mentioned but the con's is what if your readers don't like what your guest blogger wrote?

Hi,

For me, I think guest blogging is better than timestamping. At least when you ask people to write for you, that person will help you monitor the post he wrote and reply to the commentators. When we timestamp, our commenting readers expecting a reply might thought that we are giving them a cold shoulder.

[...] Posting on a regular basis doesn’t mean you gotta write a post every day. For example, you could make five posts on monday and publish them one after another through the week using the timestamp tool. [...]

How intriguing. Having your blog on auto pilot. Perhaps, one needn't just use this when are on vacation, etc. But also to use this feature to have posts published at a certain time, on time, on schedule, everyday.
