Introducing Google Adsense Video Units

Adsense is finally introducing Google Adsense Video Units. Now you can monetize your content with videos. Here is an example on how it looks like:

As we all know that Google thinks for the future and many adsense publsihers already know this when Google bought youtube. Google Adsense Video Units will be available for US member today, some publishers already saw the video units option but the majority not, that’s because Google is implementing and hopefully at the end of the day or next day will be done for all US members. People that already saw the option added them instantly to their site but they had some problems check this out:

Ok, so I’ve added the code but all that shows up is “Watch the latest videos on YouTube.com”. Anyone else seeing this?

This was lame, may Gbeta should beta tested it before launching to the large crowd.

Google chooses lame videos for my site and puts google adsense on it, or i choose cool videos and put adsense on top of it… tough choice

But could this be success like the contextual advertising? There are many people asking themselfs if there is a video ad they will click on the video to go to Youtube and see the video without ads, so that means that they will be bored to see a video with an ad (that reminds me how bored I got when I see advertisements in tv). By the way, if you are one of the first to add this option in your site you will have a higher CTR and $$$ because is new. So hurry and get some extra bucks with this option as a starter.
