Make Money with Bidz
October 28, 2007
In my recent article about Bidz, I explained and reviewed this great auction bidz jewelry but now I would like to take a time to give you a secret on how I make a decent money with Bidz.
How to make money with Bidz com
- The first step is to get a free account with Bidz.com
- By the way, in October, 2007 you can get a discount of $10 with your first bid.
- Now is time to follow the bids and try to win and get a good offer from them.
How can I make money with Bidz?
Let’s get this example:

As you can see in this screenshot this ring usually cost: $2739 and was sold with $214. But Bidz always exagerate the compared price to get a lot more customers to bid more than the real compared price. When I bid on Bidz I usually take 30% of the compared price and put in my mind that this is the real price in the market or I check other Jewelry stores and see the real prices. So let’s say in this example the real compared price is: $821.7. Let’s say that I win this ring for $214 and with shipping cost it will be $300 (just example and exagerating because sometimes bidz offer free shipping).
When the item is arrived to my home, I instantly go to jewerly stores and see how much I can sell them to get a profit from them, I don’t tell them that I got it from an auction site so they will not tell me that I got this item with a less price than the original price. They will for sure tell you that they will buy from you that ring for $700 or something like this but you have to be a wise business person. Before you go to the jewelry you can make a research on how much Diamonds and Gold costs.
You can check the gold prices and diamond prices in Kitco. If you know how the gold market works you can really wait a little bit to increase the prices of gold and go to the jewerly store. If they want to act wisely you can show them that you know the Gold and Diamond market and you know the current price of them. So they will see that you are not a dumb person that don’t know this industry.
Let’s say that the store bought your piece for $700 and you bought it $300. Your profit ROI will be $400 that is 150% of pure profits. I can call this a quick-rich scheme. That is what I call Investing in Gold for a good profit. You always have to find a way to profit and believe me this way is the most legal and easy way to make real money.
Hope you liked this little trick

Great article. That was a very comprehensive in depth explanation. Ever had trouble selling a piece, or for a lot way less than you wanted it or thought it would sell for?

Domtan depends on the Gold prices but never got a loss in selling an item one time I remember I got a minimum ROI for 2% only (of course counting the shipping and handling prices).

I have a question. I’m researching new venues to sell things. I came across Bidz.com. It left me wondering. Since Bidz does not allow minimum bids or Reserve, how can these people who sell jewelry on Bidz make money? I mean I suspected that people that sell on Bidz are entrepreneurs just like me? I mean where are these people getting their supply from that they can risk getting a low low bid on their items? I mean kinda risky to sell an item worth $1000 to me and then end up with a final bid of $10!!??? Since Bidz is still in business and there’s still a ton of sellers on there. How are these people selling on there making money??
Trust me I researched this thoroughly. I found some suppliers in south east asia and some spots in the USA that sold Auctioned Confiscated Jewelry.
Plus I notice that the average final bids on Bidz.com range in the area of $10 and $50.
So please can you enlighten me? I’m really dumbfounded. I see a piece of jewelry that should cost REALISTICLY like $1000 (not the Ridiculous Bidz compare price) but instead with only 40 minutes left before the auction is over the last bid for it was only $100!
How is this possible? with only 40 minutes left am I suppose to believe that 60 people made a bid within 40 mins to bring the price to $1000? I say IMPOSSIBLE.
In all honesty if im selling on Bidz and it’s worth $1000 to me. I say HELL NO! I won’t hand over the item for $100?? NO WAY!!! so my question is how are THESE SELLERS DOING IT?
