I'm researching new venues to sell things. I came across Bidz.com. It left me wondering. Since Bidz does not allow minimum bids or Reserve, how can these people who sell jewelry on Bidz make money? I mean I suspected that people that sell on Bidz are entrepreneurs just like me? I mean where are these people getting their supply from that they can risk getting a low low bid on their items? I mean kinda risky to sell an item worth $1000 to me and then end up with a final bid of $10!!??? Since Bidz is still in business and there's still a ton of sellers on there. How are these people selling on there making money?? Trust me I researched this thoroughly. I found some suppliers in south east asia and some spots in the USA that sold Auctioned Confiscated Jewelry. Plus I notice that the average final bids on Bidz.com range in the area of $10 and $50. So please can you enlighten me? I'm really dumbfounded. I see a piece of jewelry that should cost REALISTICLY like $1000 (not the Ridiculous Bidz compare price) but instead with only 40 minutes left before the auction is over the last bid for it was only $100! How is this possible? with only 40 minutes left am I suppose to believe that 60 people made a bid within 40 mins to bring the price to $1000? I say IMPOSSIBLE. In all honesty if im selling on Bidz and it's worth $1000 to me. I say HELL NO! I won't hand over the item for $100?? NO WAY!!! so my question is how are THESE SELLERS DOING IT? I have a question.
