Do you Track your Sales in Text Link Ads?
October 20, 2007
There are many bloggers out there making a lot money online with Text Link Ads. But did you tought about checking your sales each week? Someone noticed something strange (those that track their sales on TLA)? That happened to me. I usually check and put in a word file all the sales that I did from different programs including Text Link Ads. But one day I was updating my sales (from other very small blogs) and there were some comissions missing. I thought that may be was a system error from them but again the best solution is to email the same company so I did.
After exchanging emails and doing my job to not being scammed with a company like this. I got the answer:

So they are saying that Ads was not displaying right? But everyone knows that their system is Automatically and the approve system that I have is set to accept automatically. So how the ads were not showing? After a month and before the month was finished they removed my comissions? When I received that email they indeed added the comissions and the ads that the advertiser removed before the month was finish with its respective comission.
I am not saying that they are scammers no. I know how business works and sometimes companies will make anything to get “extra” income from their clients in this case their publishers. I bet that 90% of the publishers using text link ads don’t track their sales and they only check the amount of money being increased and decreased without knowing why is happening. For this reason, I will recommend to track your sales not only in Text Link Ads but also in other affiliate programs or similar programs like TLA.
I Monetize with text link ads those blogs or sites that I really forgot about them, those sites that I don’t have time to develop and with text link ads really helped me to make some extra profits from those half-dead sites
