Adsense is really annoying me

I have a page that is OBVIOUSLY about one theme, optimized with keywords (not spammed though because I understand how that can reverse the optimization), yet ads are showing that are related to ONE single variation keyword I had in the article. It’s so annoying! I only mentioned that variation keyword because it was important to the content of the article, but not as important as the main theme.

Google makes out its algorythms are advanced, which I suppose I shouldn’t doubt, but it’s really not showing – they look a bit dumb at the moment.

OK, is the main keyword you want to target in the page title or h1?

If not, then Google is just shooting in the dark with your content.

* Try to place a keyword or two in the actual name of your page, i.e. http://www.mysite.com/widget-keyword1-keyword2 .

It’s worked a few times for me when AS was homing in on what it thought were the keywords, but which weren’t.

* did you try this:

main theme of site here

one single word that doesnt really matter here
