How to Make Money Online in 3 Months

Stumble it!There are many people that want to make money online, and decided to make this case study to show you the ways on how to build a website from zero and make money with it.
Many webmasters rate Amazon Affiliate program as a “poor” to make money online. After reading many blogs about amazon affiliate program I can tell you that 90% are against it and will not promote it. I have decided to make a new blog to focuss on promoting amazon products and try to make money online with them and also other affiliate programs. I will update each week on how things are doing.
Why I mentioned that Amazon Affiliate program will be more difficult? Here are some points why amazon is not perfect:
- When someone click in your amazon affiliate link you will make money only if they add the item to their shopping cart before 24 hours. If they don’t add the item into their shopping cart before 24 hours you will not get the comissions. Usually in many others similar affiliate programs it give you a 30-day cookie and that will be more realistic and have bigger chances to get the comissions.
- When you start with Amazon Affiliate program, they will give you 4% and depends on how many items you have been sold they will increase it. Here is the fees structure:
That means more time and more sales to make more money with them.
- They pay after 60 days, that means if you earn $150 usd for september you will get paid on Last november or last december.
Case Study Rules:
To make it more difficult and see if anyone can make money online with a limited budget there are some rules to follow:
- My Budget to this Case study will be $100 ONLY. I can spent those $100 in whatever I want for the project. I am not allowed to spend more than $100.
- Amazon Associates account is new so no benefits to being an old affiliate
- I can use any other affiliate programs in the new site
- New Blog and new domain name so no benefits to be ranked well, I have to work from “background zero”. I will not use a free domain name or hosting because I believe that anyone can make money online but at least buy his/her domain name and hosting to prevent some problems in the future.
- Everytime I make money I can re-invest it in my new blog.
- I don’t have benefits like others because I have to maintain my other’s projects as well. So I have to work in this “new project” and continue my other projects as well. So my time is limited as well.
My Goals
- In 3 Months I have to make at least back what I spent and see if I can make this new project a monthly income.
- Make the site well-ranked in search engines.
- To show people that anyone with a limited budget and limited time can make money online.
- Make an authority site for Internet shoppers
Domain Name:
For those that want to follow this case study, the domain name I have registered to this project will be Coupon Codes Mall.
Some Points that make this case study hard
- - My Native language is not English but Spanish.
- - My Limit Time
- - My Limit Budget in this case study
- - Google’s crazyness about backlinks and the whole story that everyone knowns
- - New Domain Name – New Blog
- - No Backlinks, Not indexed on Google
- - Unknown market/niche for me, and can’t pay for tools to make my own keywords research so it will take time and effort.

A hint for you though, if you want to rank well in the search engines remove the keyword stuffing at the bottom of the site

Hey Matt, thanks for taking the time to comment here. Thanks for the stumbled that will be my main traffic generator (social, etc..) because as I mentioned I have limited budget and limited time as well.

With the initial promotion from your main website, you’ve already tainted the experiment’s results.

Hey Dan, what is important to this case study is not the “traffic” that amazonwall will get but the comissions results. I am sure no one here is interested to buy a product from amazon but the results on how much money I can make

The moment Amazon guys come to know about your case study and they start sending in traffic, the case goes biased. After all it’s them who will benefit once you succeed in this project… Anyways that’s something that can be called practical teaching… I would be watching each week for the progress.

No is not with RSS (I wish so) because you know that I have to add my Affiliate links into there and get the latest promotions which I got from the company. When you are affiliate for those companies you got the promotions via email or via Commission Juction.

I have to say that I am loving this series. I have another question for you. I have gone through all of you posts on Coupon Code Mall and see that very few of the articles promote Amazon products.
Are you making most of your money from a few amazon articles?
With so much money being made from Amazon, why the focus now on Buy.com and other affiliate programs?

I find your use of the social networking buttons a bit confusing… when I looked at your coupon site, I couldn’t find any stumbleit or digg buttons … so are you saying that they should be installed on an external blog post (Like this one) in order to generate traffic to the case study site?

Just found your BLOG 7 days ago and start to put in Amazon Widget/Links and see how it works. So far i got 13 Click but non of it has convert in order. Daily traffic of my website is avg 100 now. PPC network seems not really work well. Has start to put related product to my blog for sale.
Any comment of how to improve???

I am an associate of Amazon. I put Amazon Omikase and Astore in my blogs and website. Until now, I haven’t made any money from Amazon. Google Adsense has given me a lot of money. I prefer to use Adsense. I still put the Amazon code in my blogs and website hoping that one day, they can make money too.
