Googlelady Statistics and The Moral of The Story
November 4, 2007
I will not try to make a show off article showing Googlelady’s traffic but will try to make it more informative so you can learn what I did. Just let me start talking about a brief history of Googlelady.com. Googlelady.com was registered on 24-jun-2005 under the name of eTalk Network (I am preparing an about page about it, because every time I write an affiliate marketing guide I got a bunch of emails from affiliate programs and networks asking me why I am not a member with them).
Anyways, to make the story short I was assigned to manage and write Googlelady.com blog but in that time I was too busy, traveling from country to country and see where I will finally stay. So I was not really applying the most important ingredient that will make your blog success: Faith on your Blog. But after a long personal issues and some other online adventures that I was involved I came to check Googlelady statistics (after 1 year and a half without posting) and saw that their were a lot unique visitors still coming to Googlelady and a little more research also saw that there are many people saying that Googlelady.com was a good blog but is dead right now.
So I started to “again” post and getting my baby (googlelady.com) a little love and faith. In that time I had a pagerank 7 then after a month of “re-starting” I was pagerank 6, as you can imagine I was a little upset but my ranks was not changed (in google) then the last update of Google was to put Googlelady.com in pagerank 4 but this time was because some changes on Google Guidelines so I changed a little bit here and there (nofollow tag, and some names changes like “Glady Cool Sites”, “research”, etc..) and now I am following the Google guidelines 100% and sent “re-consideration” to Google and still waiting their answer.
My Plan To Recover Googlelady.com
My Plan to survive and recover this “dead blog” is to post every day, then made some changes in the way Googlelady was (it was just about webmasters articles). Then decided to write about: Affiliate Marketing, Search Engines, Make Money Online, Blogging tips and many more. Anyways, all those categories are mainly for webmasters no? and those topics are my favorites.
Statistics of Googlelady
Alexa
I know that Alexa is not worth anything but still many people are interesting on it so here is a screenshot of Googlelady alexa ranking:

Ranking: 87,602 You can check the current Googlelady alexa ranking here.
Technorati:
I was banned from technorati when they first started, the reason? I don’t know why, but I emailed them and they said that Googlelady.com now is in Technorati and that they are sorry for the confusion (Why? still don’t know). Googlelady.com was unbanned approx. In September 29 to October 1 (don’t remember the exact date) and here is technorati rank:

Check: Technorati Ranking
Acording to Google Analytics, I have a minimum of 1000 Unique visitors per day and maximum 2000, an avarage of 1340 Unique visitors per day. Now I just have to focuss on writting more interesting articles, focuss on getting more RSS members (many are interested to see more number on the rss bar). I really have to say this, I have never being in the first page of Digg and I have never cheated Alexa ranking (I really don’t care about their statistics neither waste my time cheating their system, I can spend that time focussing on creating new articles and testing more ways to make money online and getting Googlelady.com to the next level).
My Earnings from this change? In Googlelady I have earning more than 300% since I started to follow the plan and goals. To add extra income, I started to sell advertising with nofollow tag (so if you are interesting to advertise in Googlelady you are welcome to check “get listed” section at the top of the blog). I am using 2checkout and you can buy from it via major credit cards and also via Paypal (integrated with 2checkout).

You have to put faith into your blog, Work with your Blog goals and plans and you will succeed for sure. English is not my language (Spanish is my main language) so you can’t tell me that your english language is the barrier to succeed (that is the main reason bloggers give up).

Your blog is really is good blog and since I found it out of no where, I keep coming back to read your posts, especially on all those affiliate marketing posts because I am testing the waters of affiliate marketing.
What I don’t know about Googlelady.com is that it has been started since 2005. Nice effort and stamina to make it alive until today. If not, I might have lost a good read!
