New .us.com and .Asia Domain Extensions
November 4, 2007
Dotster and MyDomain
is offering the latest domain extensions. You can resgister your .us.com and .Asia domain extesnion from Dotster. I have announced the .us.com domain extension like a month ago.
I got many emails asking me if .us.com will be (In SEO terms) the same as .com/.net/.org in my opinion (still no proofs) it will be the same as .co.uk or any other country domain extension. For example if you are searching for Google UK you will notice that some of the top results will be the domains from the UK. So .us.com will be more to foccuss on Google US, as its domain name extension is from the US. The domain extension .us (Without the .com) have not been so succeess in SEO terms but may be .us.com will be different than .us alone.
Anyways, .us.com for me will be good for PPC campaigns as an affiliate marketer. Everyone, now have to develop a landing page so it will be two major things here: In PPC your CTR will be increased if you buy the domain-keyword (Which you may be have the chance to get it if you didn’t get from other extensions, is new) and the other point is if .us.com will be in SEO terms good ranking in Google. You will be ranking on Google US and will be attracting US visitors only (Which is good if you are promoting US customers only).
.Asia extension was launched on October 9, 2007. Read more about it in Dotster and see if it is worth buying some .asia domain extensions.
If you would like some discounts from Dotster or MyDomain
which are the same company. You can check Dotster Coupon Codes (works also in Mydomain) and get 15% OFF your purchases. Dotster gave Googlelady.com an exclusive Coupon code

I haven’t seen any evidence that domains other than .gov and .edu have SEO benefits. Pretty much everything else can be used by anyone, so they carry little authority.
