Why Would you Hate Making Money Online with Adsense?

Stumble it!There are many people that are against making money online with adsense because many reasons. For example; there is people that still believe that making money through adsense is useless and it will looks “bad” on your site. From my point of view, if you know how to embbed your adsense code in your sites it will look prettier and it will give your readers another “source” of information to find more about your topic or blog post. There are other reasons why me and other adsense publishers don’t add adsense in some other sites/projects:
- If I create a project/blog/website which gives information of a product that I am selling from affiliate programs, I will not add adsense because it will make my visitors to check adsense ads and not focussing in the product that I am selling.
- If you are an adwords advertiser and your main goal is to sell a product through a landing page, you definitevely, have to remove adsense from your landing page. You will loose potential buyers. Do not think that adding an adsense in your landing page will make a little extra money if they don’t buy the product… That is a Myth! If a visitor click in your ads is because they are interested in the product that you are selling (if you manage very well negative keywords)
- If you sell direct advertising from your website/blog. Having adsense on your site will make the advertiser to go cheaper with adwords than buying directly from your site. A good example is Johnchow. He removed the adsense on his blog in september when he started to sell direct advertising.
- There are many people that still believe in the “old” way, the Internet is to give free information and not making money online. I disagree with those that think like this. Is true that in the internet you can find many things for free but now people start to sell even “information” (and I disagree as well in a way) but is good to be in the middle. Make Money Online giving free information. (It sounds better no?)
If you are one of them, I would like to know why you hate to make money online with adsense.

Like you mentioned there is a right and a wrong way to go about adsense. I think that those who are against it feel it presents some sort of ethical dilemma or it dilutes credibility.

That’s definitely what I do. I give free information but making money from it. What do you think about the teaching sells program?

You excellent writers are an inspritational to us rookie. I am learning a lot, now I have to research and learn more about adsense. Plus, I’m checking out all the related articles info, I’m trying to figure out how it was done. Was is done by you or google? I kinda think it’s advertising?

Any advertising looks cheesy, but then again most of us are here to make money so that’s the ONLY reason I would ever drop Adsense i.e. if I could make more money in other ways. As it stands I’m more than happy with my monthly $10,000+ payments from Adsense

Oh, I hate making money. I just sold everything I own, including my clothes, and now I’m going to live under a bridge in a nice cardboard box.

Adsense works well for some types of sites, but others it does not do so well. It just depends on what your target market is, whether or not its useful. Some site niches are better suited to different types of monetization.

@JohnCard: Yeah I am Google Lady but that is not mean that I like all google service we always have to test ways to make money online
and see what works and what not.
@Teejay: It all depends if I give some information free and some to sell that’s ok for me.
@betshopboy: the reasons are listed in the article. Depends on what is the way you make money online. If it is Affiliate marketing definitevely adsense is a no-no in your landing pages.
@Elliot: Don’t sell your stuffs just give it for free if you hate make money
@Bruce: You hit the Ball! All depends on the niche of your site.
