It seems that the Google rumors that have been posted and being around the internet is now taking into action with first the Pagerank Buzz that everyone have talked 2 weeks ago and now this new change in Google adsense. I was reading some blogs and came to Problogger that mentioned about Google adsense making Ad Units Less Clickable:

google adsense

Google adsense give the reason:

“We’re rolling out a change to our text ad formats to help reduce accidental clicks and increase value for advertisers…..This new format will match the changes we’ve implemented on Google.com to help decrease the number of accidental clicks and increase the number of ad conversions. A reduction in accidental clicks will keep users on your pages, interacting with your content until they choose to click on an ad. This change will enhance the user’s overall experience with your websites and improve advertiser campaign value, but it’s likely that your click-through rate will decrease.”

In an advertiser point of view, this is good! but I think it will decrease a lot of adsense publisher earnings. May be now they are in the way to apply the x number of clicks rules?

Pff, Google is making it harder and harder for publishers to earn a decent income from Adsense. I am glad i stopped using it!
From an advertiser point of view i think it is good. Although i always deactivate the content network when doing ppc marketing via Adwords.

Well I don’t make nothing off of ad’s and it don’t matter who it is. Bloggers I don’t think use other bloggers ad’s and if thats your only source of traffic your not going to be making crap anyways you slice it. I am not sure who is good to use and who you can make money off of. I have however been approved for the Rubicon project beta network so we will see whats thats all about.

Hey hows the contest comming alone? Hows my points?
