Jalaj, .info have a bad name because as you said, many webmasters prefer to build long-term sites with .com and I really don’t know why. But I have many sites .info and they rank very well (did it at first to prove to myself that search engines don’t have preference between .com vs .info).

.info have certainly brought in a bad name for themselves due to availability at cheapest price as cheap as FREE. I too fell in for cheap price and had a .info site and am now paying since 2nd year as much amount as I would have paid for .com. But anyways that’s a personal community site open to a small group so matters less.

Hey what a simple site this is. He he,, Hmmm u know people have this mania about having a .com Well I ofcause don’t My personal site too is a .info he he So basically its a myth.

.ca Extensions are for canada is applied the samething. But usually the extension .ca will be shown more in Google Canada
