Strategies to Learn Affiliate Marketing for Free

Many people ask me this question, Glady how can I learn affiliate marketing? Which e-books and books I have to buy to learn affiliate marketing like all gurus? I will tell you my strategy on how to learn affiliate marketing for free. Let me tell you a story first on how I started and how many times I wasted the opportunity to learn. The internet is full of tips and there are many forums and blogs that you can learn affiliate marketing for free.

When I first started, there were not as many Affiliate marketing blog as it has now. But mainly I started in the forums. Went to each category that is related to affiliate marketing and read the title, click on the thread and Bookmarked. Never read it again! How many of you do the samething? “oh this is a good thread let me save it and I will read it after”….Pufff you never read it again. So the first lesson and strategy is to READ. Don’t save that page and read it after. Just get a piece of paper or folder and start writting notes and the tips that you find in every forum and blog. Save or register to their RSS of your favorite blog.

On the other hand, there was another problem that I had when I was “studying” affiliate marketing. And guess which one? MONEY. I was not able to spend (gamble) money with PPC. I was very afraid to spend the money that I use on my house spend and that is really wrong that anyone can make. Don’t ever use the money that you need (for surviving your family, university, school, etc..) So my strategy was start from almost zero.

That’s when I talked to Hussam (my best real friend not cyber friend). He was on this business not pay per click but had an entertainment forum that was not producing a lot of money but was better than me. So I talked to him about affiliate marketing and the barriers (Money at that time). So he came with a great idea which thanks to him we are here earning and living from this business.

The strategy was; I will put $50 and he also will put $50 to register a domain name and a hosting account. That is why I posted some articles about how you can earn money with less than $xx like this: Make Money Online Starting with Less than $70 and Make money online in 3 months. That’s exactly how we started. We bought a domain name and a hosting account. Between us we created content and started to rank very well in Google. Then we make some money from adsense, adbrite and Commission juction. From that money we expanded with more sites to make more money and then we can invest them on PPC. Right now we have more than 200 stablished sites/blogs, more than 10,000 landing pages (with different domain names) and more than 10 dedicated server and 40 Virtual Private server. We even hired some people to write for us. That’s when we created eTalk Network.

Anyways, from a $100 invested money we have created a full Online business almost for free. We did not bought any e-book. Just read and read on forums (In that time). I am not telling that was an easy stuff. No that was very difficult with many hours of work every day not a single day off. But that paid off. Now I can get a month of vacation without worrying anything, wake up at any time (No alarm clock) and being with my family. My point here, if you want to succeed you have to make your goals and work on it hard and then when you build your strategies, your knowledge and your system you are done. You just have to spend less than 2 hours per day.
