The basic idea goes like this.

Choose a subject. Look for topics where the average click is worth more than just a few cents. $0.15-$0.25 is good, but I’ll be honest… There are keywords paying much more.

Now do some research about your subject, and make sure that there is some sort of demand online demand.

Write, or find content. Not just a few lines, but small articles. 200-500 words can’t hurt.

Add the adsense code to your pages, and be sure to customize your ad layout so that it fits smoothly into your web site.

Now, send traffic to your site. With a well laid out site, and well blended ads, you should begin to gain some adsense revenue. If you click through rate is low then it’s time to tweak your pages. Tweak, test and track your pages, and you will find changes that increase your CTR.

Note: You may find that some niches are harder to earn from than others, so be ready to create more sites like this for more subjects, because it’s important not to put all your eggs in one basket, especially with adsense revenue.
