I am sure, like all hosting companies, they work fine for some people, and not others. I suspect that most disagreements with hosting companies result from not reading the T&Cs or expecting more than was promised. Double billing??? I highly doubt this...billing for late fees, renewals, collection fees, this I could believe. Anyway. They repeatedly double-bill us for domains, do not reply to suport emails, when they do - they are unacceptably rude, incompetent, generic and irrelevant to the question. They support is outsourced abroad. They may be cheap, but they are just abysmal and a complete and utter nightmare to deal with. Stay away from 1&1.
