google now offering flash ads for advertisers

i assume that flash ads will be considered image ads, and therefore, if you have image ads turned off, they wont appear. i wonder if google will allow publishers to keep image ads but turn off animations.

- They added flash ads to the lineup back in April.
i suppose then, that google considers april to be a ‘new addition’.

…We accept image ads (.JPEG, .PNG, .GIF), as well as Flash (.SWF), which is a new addition.
