Let me tell you something I have been preparing a post to rant about webhostingpad affiliate program but fortunetly, today we (etalk network) have received one of the best emails this year. Webhostingpad have changed the Affiliate Manager! WAHOO!!!

Let me start with the story of our experience with them. When we applied for webhostingpad we make an excesive research about them, even I bought a hosting account with them and the webhostingpad review is the result of my experience with them, till now still great their hosting service but what they really (sorry) SUX were the affiliate programs, I can call them unprofessional or even Scammers.

When we started to advertise with them the first month we got +15 sales to them and when the month ended we have seen that the commissions was charged back (ALL of them) 1-2 orders was because of fraud (that is normal) but the others was “other” yes they put that message. I sent them an email saying what the hell is happening with them, they didn’t answer just sent an automatically email saying that we are “Out” of their program. Again tried to call them, no answer. Used many other emails and nothing. Then after a month exchanging emails with CJ (with no hope and no help at all) Webhostingpad sent us an email saying that we are not allowed to use coupons to promote their affiliate program and if we wish to do that we need to sign up with their in-house affiliate program.

Here is a screnshot of just 6 orders (No need for posting all), check the dates:

I am a person to show proofs what I am saying, I was really pissed off the money lost and the TIME on researching this company. Anyways, we were out and then I personally registered an account under my mother name and address. Got just 6 sales (Which is not true comparing with cj) then this month may, for a surprise I got a call from Hussam saying that webhostingpad invited us again to their affiliate program, I told him to accept and make a test to show that in-house program of webhostingpad is just a scam. In the first day that we accepted their offer we sold 1 package and shutted down again the campaigns.

What that means? Their in-house affiliate program which they have total control in their affiliates and commissions is just an unprofessional way because they DON’T COUNT the Commissions!. This is when send a letter (via Mail) and via fax to the CEO of webhostingpad but don’t know if he received it or their workers let them know about it. Anyways, after all that ranting and bad experience with this company which they also own Omnis. eTalk Network and myself (more than any) are very happy and welcome the new Affiliate Manager In Webhostingpad and hopefully Jayme will be doing a honest job.

Did Webhostingpad lost customers After this issue?

Yes, we told every “Local” buyer that bought from them to ask for money back and also eTalk Network who bought 5 accounts with them with minimum 2 years also removed and asked the money-back. They did it without any question, that’s good! but if they fail with getting a good affiliate manager they can fail to their services (But having a personal account with them, I can tell till now their service are good-fair).

This post is to show people that there are really dishonest affiliate managers/programs that steal your hard work. I would like again to welcome the new affiliate manager of webhostingpad and omnis and wish him the best luck.

I am so tempted to say that there are some much better hosts than WHP and Omnis…

Yeah that’s totally true, but remember also SEO plays a role here.
